This course
This course presents a quick introduction to using Mediasite on Moodle. It is recommended to anyone who intends to use the Mediasite platform for education. The content presented here is intended to get you quickly acquainted with the most basic features of Mediasite and equip you to use it for the most common educational use cases. This course is, by no means, a treatise on the subject of video authoring/publishing nor is it intended to give anyone advanced technical capabilities with using the Mediasite platform itself
The course is self-paced, not graded, and always available. Interested participants are encouraged to repeat the practice lessons as often as necessary to gain proficiency.

Requirements
The following are the requirements for this course;
- You need a software license to use Mediasite. Only the Mediasite Desktop Recorder - a software-only solution - is demonstrated in this quick course. It is assumed that you have access to a computer with an installed/licensed copy of this software. Kindly contact your Mediasite representative for this.
- A computer with working high-speed internet connection will be required. To practice the lessons, your computer should have a working webcam, speaker, and microphone.
- A modern web browser - Google Chrome (version 80+), Mozilla Firefox (version 75+), Safari (version 12+).
- You need to have the privileges of a Teacher or above on your instance of Moodle.
